Hi I'm Bob

I have been involved in music since I was 7 yrs old did my first gig at 8 yrs old singing at a grade school dance... began my career as a lead singer, then I moved to Bass guitar, then after many yrs I switched to lead guitar
I began my professional career in 1964 with some home town boys, We started a band of which became really popular named The Marauders. Since then I've worked with over 500 other musicians on a local, state, & national level. I have performed on over 35 recordings as a studio musician. At one point in my career I was rated the #2 Bass Player in the state. From 1969-72, I took a break from his musical career to serve my country in the U.S. Army Special Forces (Green Berets) during Vietnam. Upon my return,to civilian life I resumed my musical career. My experience ranges from local bands I created or helped to create, to working with national acts like James Taylor, Carly Simon, & Stephen Stills, BB King etc....I have opened for over 25 national acts including Three Dog Night, Sly & the Family Stone, Jefferson Airplane, Uriah Heap , Cletus T Judd, , Gene Watson, Johnny Russell, Jo Dee Messina and the list goes on, & on, & on…. After coming off the road, I spent most of my time working with some of the state’s top bands such as Foxie, The Marauders, The Rockin Rebels, Sierra Blue, Chris Woodward , and Berkobin & Corson ,which was my last major endeavor… I also have a passion for the outdoors, animals photography basically anything that has to do with nature
Influences
My major influences include, first & foremost:

B.B. King, Richie Blackmore, Eric Clapton, Crosby, Stills, & Nash, Kansas, & especially:
The Allman Bros., whom I've had the privilege of jamming with at their farm outside of Macon, GA, during their formative years.
